This distinctive kitchen is the latest impressive masterpiece from the team at JNI Interiors. Featuring enticing combinations of colours and materials, and an abundance of functional solutions, the homeowners’ request for luxurious and comfortable living has been well and truly satisfied.

Upon entering this opulent space, the generous island bench catches the eye, neatly dividing the kitchen from the walkway whilst remaining open and accessible. The pearlescent TrendStone ‘Cala Quartz’ benchtop is multi-tiered, creating two zones: a food preparation space with a dual sink and wet area, and a breakfast bar shroud for casual dining. The angled walls posed a design challenge, resulting in a curved shape to the island that draws attention away from the angles.

JNI Interiors worked closely with the homeowners to achieve their vision of mixed textures and a warm-to-cool palette for a dynamic, modern aesthetic. The high-gloss black smart panelling around the island and the in-built appliances are toned down by the ‘Elegant Oak’ Laminex cabinetry in a natural finish. Completing the look is the Clare Aluminium handles in brushed brass, adding shine and contrast.

Practicality along with beautiful design is at the forefront of this kitchen. Wide cabinets were installed to increase storage capacity and for easy access to cooking equipment. Cool white LED strip lighting runs beneath the overhead cabinets, illuminating the TrendStone splashback and the homeowners’ unique treasures. A corner window supplies natural light and a view of the spectacular city skyline.

Enhancing the opulence of the kitchen is the bespoke home bar. The shelving has been fitted with gold metal inserts, giving a sense of classic luxury against the black cabinetry. There is plenty of space for bottles and a bench for preparing beverages, plus an in-built minifridge to keep drinks cool

Striking visual contrasts are carried through to the bathrooms. The matte Wilsonart panelling in ‘Studio Teak’ is softer than the black but still stands out against the porcelain-white sinks and chrome fittings. The en suite showcases a sleek round mirror with a touch-sensitive backlight, perfect for applying makeup and getting ready in the morning.

JNI Interiors thought of everything for this successful project, applying its clients’ vision and giving attention to detail to accomplish their dreams. This show-stopping kitchen boasts energy-efficient features, including LED lighting with low energy consumption, and water-saving taps throughout the apartment, which will benefit the environment and reduce the homeowners’ expenses.
