This modern, eye-catching kitchen is the latest innovative design from Imperium Glass. The homeowner envisioned a kitchen with functional features and impeccable style, and Imperium Glass structured its unique design around these key principles.

Designed by Slaven Djuric, the company’s director, the kitchen’s colour scheme has been carefully coordinated. Copper bench tops and kickboards complement the black metallic two-pack cabinetry, while the unstructured pattern of the New York marble island and splashback offers a visually pleasing contrast. Imperium Glass also included back-lit marble in the design for added ‘wow’ factor.

Featuring touch-to-open cabinets and wide, open drawers for storage, the kitchen is tailor-made for practical living. The open-plan nature of this design allows for easy movement within the space, and the expansive kitchen island doubles as a preparation station and informal dining area. The island bench also includes a deep sink and detachable faucet for quick, hassle-free cleaning.

The fridge is hidden behind matching two-pack cabinetry to keep from disrupting the kitchen’s aesthetic, and the integrated gas stovetop, rangehood and dishwasher complete the kitchen’s sleek appearance. The attached butler’s pantry acts as a secondary prep area and offers multiple storage options. Fitted cubed shelves provide additional display and organisation areas within the pantry.

The nearby wine cellar is a wine aficionado’s dream. Frameless glass panels allow for a semi-private space, while offering a full view of the cellar’s stunning timber features. Dark timber shelves were installed to absorb vibration and protect cellared wine from sunlight. The natural oak offers a warm contrast to the main kitchen and its durable nature can withstand high humidity levels and temperature fluctuations – a key factor in preserving wine. LED downlights and Nevada spotlights illuminate the cellar after sunset.
