Germancraft Cabinets Project 2

This versatile kitchen was beautifully designed by Germancraft Cabinets. With a hidden walk-in pantry and striking extended island bench, the space is highly functional and has sophisticated visual appeal.

Created by the company’s designer Katia Slogrove, the kitchen features matte-black Lamicolor cabinetry and a smoky-glass mirror splashback that fosters an elegant aesthetic. Beautifully contrasting with its surroundings, the Quantum Quartz island benchtop in ‘Alpine White’ provides a great space for food preparation.

The pantry was converted from the existing laundry to provide the kitchen with increased storage space. Germancraft Cabinets cleverly disguised the floor-level variance with custom-designed joinery.

A warming chalet-oak material was selected for the island’s extended top, where family members will gather for meals and socialising. The oak also appears along the top of the overhead cabinetry and down the side wall for visual continuity.

Measuring 7.5m x 3m, the kitchen includes an array of mirror elements, which achieve the illusion of increased space. The pantry and near bench feature ‘Nero Assoluto’ Essastone surfaces which enhance the luxurious aesthetic.
