Action Kitchens Project 2

This full renovation, designed and created by Action Kitchens, combines a practical layout with a modern aesthetic. Featuring integrated appliances, stylish Smartstone splashback and a capacious island bench with a chic Franke sink, this kitchen acts as a hub for the whole family to cook together and entertain guests. The previous design made access to the adjoining family and dining room difficult, but this revamp has extended and opened up the space to improve flow between formal and informal dining areas.

The simple yet unique design of the timber Laminex cabinetry adds a splash of contrast to the kitchen’s crisp white motif and gloss panelling. At the client’s request, this project also features a multitude of storage, including hidden drawers and spacious cupboards, which allow for ease of organisation whilst adhering to the kitchen’s modern theme.

All appliances were chosen with functionality as their primary criteria. The homeowners wanted a kitchen they would enjoy cooking in that was also visually appealing. The PITT Drum cooktop streamlines cooking for simultaneous use of all burners while complementing the kitchen’s contemporary design. Above the PITT Drum cooktop is the stainless steel Falmec Siena rangehood with touch controls, while on the right, integrated Liebherr fridges blend seamlessly into the cabinetry for a sleek finish. However, the sparkling feature piece is the dual V-ZUG steam ovens – designed to increase cooking capacity and convenience.

The new structural alterations and bright colour scheme work in tandem with the natural light flowing from living area’s fulllength windows, re-enforcing the sense of opulence and spaciousness in the room. From the two-pack white gloss cabinetry, to the discrete storage solutions and state-of-the-art appliances, Action Kitchens’ design exudes luxury and efficient living.
