For this project, the clients approached Garsden & Clarke Kitchens in hopes of achieving a highly functional kitchen with a seamless flow between their home’s indoor and outdoor spaces. Expertly completed by designer Holly Peters, the finished result is a comprehensive design that will stand the test of time.

Providing the perfect space for entertaining, the open-plan kitchen has an inviting appeal. Featuring a waterfall-edged island bench with a Dekton top in ‘Kelya’, and a matching splashback, as well as contrasting Dekton cooking bench in ‘Zenith’, the space is characterised by a pleasing visual balance.

Seamlessly connecting the outdoor barbecue area with the kitchen, the matte-finish Polytec base cabinetry in ‘Classic White’ provides a modern aesthetic. Showcasing a ‘Notaio Walnut’ finish from Polytec’s WOODMATT range, the overhead cabinetry and island base provide warmth to the space.

To increase visibility of the main workspaces, LED strip lighting was installed under the overhead cabinetry and a black bar-style pendant light was hung over the island bench. The abundance of natural and artificial lighting emphasises the connection to the outdoors for seamless visual appeal.
