For this project, the homeowners wanted their kitchen area transformed into a main bathroom, en suite and laundry. Designed by Justin Reid and built by the expert team at Empire Designer Bathrooms, each space features French-pattern National Tiles travertine wall tiles in ‘Oyster Grey’, natural stone flooring, and water-saving black accent tapware for a luxurious look, with a contemporary twist.

Utilising every inch of available space, the main bathroom has an open-plan layout designed to maximise liveability. Featuring a freestanding bath, exposed shower, custom two-pack double vanity unit with handle-less drawers, and exquisite basins by Reece Plumbing, the space showcases state-of-the-art products for functionality and style.

Modern openable shutters offer natural light, while LED strips, downlights, and a hanging feature light provide optimal illumination when required.

Continuing the refined feel of the main bathroom, the en suite and laundry feature matching tiles and elegant black tapware for visual cohesion. With a statement black shower frame, additional shelving beside the custom-made vanity unit, as well as a large basin and mirror, the en suite is a trendy retreat.

The laundry is a practical zone suited to busy family life, with ample storage potential and classic elements. A mix of various-sized cupboards allows the homeowners to stow a range of items, keeping the area free of clutter. The stone tiles perfectly complement the white cabinetry, and tie the wet rooms together beautifully.
