Fulfilling the client’s brief for a Hamptons design with boundless entertaining potential, Action Kitchens has created a kitchen and dining area that is equal parts practical and elegant. The perfect gathering place, this layout is bolstered by two enviable island benches and generous storage space.

Finished in two-pack Dulux ‘Signature’ with 30 percent satin, the cabinetry immediately draws the eye upon viewing this project. The addition of copper Lo & Co handles present a warm contrast against the blue-grey hue of the cabinets and the white Smartstone ‘Arcadia’ benchtop. This crisp colour scheme highlights the high ceilings and expansive void, reinforcing the sense of space in this already grand design.

Built-in Asko ovens are the height of innovation, cleverly installed at a convenient height to ensure ease-of-access. Similarly, the Electrolux cooktop and Miele dishwasher fit effortlessly into the cabinetry for a seamless aesthetic that doesn’t sacrifice functionality. Completing this high-tech heaven are the two Vintec bar fridges, neatly built into the outside of the first island bench for practical entertaining.

Extending from the primary kitchen space is the sleek secondary island. Action Kitchens artfully ensured dual functionality with this thoughtful addition, which can be used as both a dining table and a supplementary preparation and service area when needed.

With a matching benchtop and two pack Dulux ‘Meniscus’ finish, this island complements the kitchen’s colour scheme while also offering a necessary contrast to the unique cabinetry. A panelled finish and eye-catching X-frame legs round out the Hamptons design and leave a lasting impression.
