Characterised by trendy style inclusions and a functional layout, this spacious kitchen by Action Kitchens is the ideal spot for cooking and entertaining. To expertly achieve the client’s brief for a large and open space, the team fashioned a design with wide walkways. The clever design encourages easy movement and can comfortably accommodate a large group of people.

The design was further enhanced by zoning the kitchen into separate workstations, as well as incorporating a range of high-quality hardware. Blum drawers provide plenty of storage potential, while a Lazy Susan in the corner cabinets and roller-door cupboards were used to conceal appliances, and offer everyday convenience.

A wine rack and display cabinet have also been incorporated to showcase bottles and glasses for a touch of luxury, while a customised glass splashback adds vibrant personality.

A generous island bench with a Silestone top in ‘Arden Blue’ and a pencil round edge offers ample room for food preparation, as well as a central location from which the family can enjoy meals. Pendant lights above the island bench exude sophistication, while LED strip lighting below the overhead cabinetry offers additional illumination.

Windows above the sink allow for direct sunlight and provide striking views of the tropical surroundings. The windows can also be opened to generate a flow between the indoors and outdoors.

Built for longevity, the kitchen includes a host of state-of-the-art appliances, such as a Fisher & Paykel oven, a touch control induction cooktop and canopy rangehood, dishwasher and refrigerator. A Haier wine refrigerator, Everhard Squareline plus double bowl undermount sink, and a gooseneck tap have also been incorporated.
