A UNIQUE COMBINATION

MODERN LUXURY

This unique kitchen was designed by founder of Maytain Cabinets, Robert Mayer with a combination of industrial and luxurious elements.

The 3m island bench exudes extravagance with its marbled-granite benchtop, which beautifully reflects the three hanging lights. The subway-tile splashback perfectly complements the industrial style of the hanging lights. Pilasters with corbels and rosettes enhance the luxurious theme, which has a modern colour palette of white and grey.

All large appliances have been integrated into the cabinetry to maximise the use of the space. A porcelain butler’s sink is positioned below the kitchen window, which fills the space with natural light, while offering a great view. Two display cabinets on either side of the stove are fitted with down lights to showcase special trinkets.

Project 1

A PINCH OF FRENCH PROVINCIAL

AND A DASH OF CLASSIC QUEENSLAND

The finest materials, decorative accents, and unparalleled craftsmanship make this kitchen a visual feast. Designed by Norm Ainsworth, extensive storage solutions and a carefully planned layout have brought one family’s design goals to life.

Located in the leafy suburb of Ashgrove, the homeowners wanted a space that took full advantage of what Brisbane’s inner-suburbs have to offer. In this case, natural light, and a bright welcoming atmosphere was a must!

Working around three large windows, Ainsworth installed open-shelving, cupboards, and drawers across the room to maximise its storage potential and make the kitchen as functional as it is beautiful. To highlight the kitchen’s simple elegance, Ainsworth used Farmers pilasters, dentil frieze capping, and glass shelves, which created a classy, French provincial-inspired kitchen.

Project 2

MODERN ELEGANCE

SLEEK LINES AND STORAGE SOLUTIONS

The owners of this property wanted a spacious family kitchen and a luxurious bathroom with plenty of storage options. In response, Maytain Cabinets delivered high-quality, functional designs that are family-friendly and perfect for entertaining.

The kitchen design by Norm Ainsworth boasts plenty of space in which to cook and socialise. The warm, natural textures are uplifted by the clean lines of the generous touch-to-open cupboards and drawers, which feature a stunning two- pack ‘White Pepper’ finish. The 4.5m x 3.6m space also features a large window and a smoked mirror splashback, which encourage an open and luxurious aesthetic.

Central to the kitchen’s calming atmosphere is the large waterfall-edged island bench, which features elegant Polytec ‘Tessuto Milan’ timber grain laminate with a ravine finish. Its gorgeous Silestone benchtop in ‘Cemento Spa’ features a remarkable suede-leather finish that is illuminated by the overhead modern pendant lights, which boast beautiful antique bulbs.

The raw textures of stone and timber grain also appear in the 2.5m x 1.5m bathroom by Rob Mayer, which features a streamlined window and a state-of-the-art combined heat, light and fan system to achieve a bright and airy atmosphere.

A 20mm Caesarstone benchtop in ‘Bianco Drift’ was selected for the large wall-hung vanity, which features a square ceramic undermount basin and ample storage space. A Park Avenue mixer from Abey Australia was selected for the basin, while the shower boasts a Stegbar screen and a Raindance Select showerhead from Hansgrohe.

Maytain Cabinets has maximised storage throughout the entire project, allowing room for luxurious elements to shine, such as the show-stopping appliances from Fisher & Paykel, Siemens and Bosch. As a result, the project possesses the understated elegance and liveability for which Maytain Cabinets is renowned.
