CELEBRITY CHEF'S KITCHEN

FUNCTIONAL SCANDINAVIAN ELEMENTS

This modern scandinavian-inspired studio kitchen was designed by germancraft cabinets’ katia slogrove, for celebrity chef Luke hines. the iconic statement wall features fish-scale tiling and custom yellow grout to create a whimsical and unique space.

The easily maintained extended benchtop features essastone in ‘matt ash concrete’, while the servery window is ideal for entertaining, as well as filming hines’ new tV show. the indoor benchtop is fitted with a two-burner cooktop, a wok hob and a deep double sink, which creates the perfect cooking and cleaning space.

Laminex ‘sublime teak’ was selected for the interior of the cabinetry to complement the black and white finishes and achieve a dramatic effect when opened. the handle-less cabinetry is fitted with blum serVo-driVe systems for push-and-release accessibility. the inclusion of serVo-driVe Uno bin system fosters a clean and manageable kitchen.

Three V-ZUg ovens are positioned in the centre of the matte-black cabinetry, which reflects the outdoor space beautifully, while drawing light and colour into the kitchen. the integrated fridge and freezer are fitted with serVo- driVe Flex, which ensures the doors will automatically close.

Extra drawers were installed to accommodate hine’s vast collection of spices. all drawers contain ambia-Line accessories to ensure their contents are kept tidy and presentable.

Project 1

TEXTURAL FEELING

BOLD COLOURS

Built with both form and function in mind, Wayne Havenaar from Germancraft Cabinets created a sophisticated and functional kitchen for this project. Perfect for entertaining, the renovated space maximises the existing area’s layout.

Utilising a strong colour palette, timber accents, and a variety of textures, Havenaar combined the home’s bar with the freshly renovated kitchen to ensure all of the homeowner’s entertainment needs were met.

From pull-out shelving to an abundance of drawers and cupboards, the kitchen’s design and layout keeps the benchtop clutter-free while all essential household items are kept within easy reach.

Established by directors Tony Grannall and Wayne Havenaar in 1991, the company utilises the top manufacturing technologies and this, coupled with their expert craftsmanship, makes for a winning combination.
